Sources of Ganges Trek

The source of legendary Ganga at 3,893 , is of extraordinary beauty with soaring snow covered peaks of Bhagirthi group and Shivling above. We cross the Gangotri glacier and walk to the base camp (4,463 m) of Mt.Shivling (6,950m). Then we trek to the beautiful Panwali Meadow (3,603 m) covering varying elevations and passing through villages of dense forests to have over 200 km. Magnificent views of central Himalayas from Mt.Kedarnath(0.870 m) to the highest peak in Garwhal Nanda Devi (7,817 m) and Trishul ( 7,210 m). Trekking-11 days.

DAY 10 - DAY 15: Trekking
A short drive to Mallla and Trek to Panwali with an extra day for relaxation and reach road head. Overnight in Tents.

DAY 16 - DAY 17: Dehradun
Drive back to Dehra Dun and on arrival in Dehra Dun transfer to Hotel for overnight.

DAY 18: Dehra Dun - Delhi
Morning city sightseeing tour of Dehra Dun and and the forest research Institute. Evening board the overnight train to Delhi.

DAY 19: Delhi
Arrive Delhi. Assistance on arrival and transfer to your hotel. Rest of the day free for independent activities. Overnight at hotel.

DAY 20: Delhi - Hometown
Early morning transfer to the airport in time to board the international flight for your Home town.
