Amer Fort travel package
Ancient Amer fort stands on the rocky hill of Cheel ka Teela (Hill of Eagles) that overlooks Jaipur and situated next to the Maota Lake. Inside the palace the state rooms have been resorted and can be fully explored by the visitors. Major highlights include the chamber of a thousand mirrors popularly known as ‘Sheesh Mahal’ which is possibly the most beautiful of all of the inner domains of the fort. A delicate carving of Ganesha (Hindu Elephant god), carved from a single piece of coral is placed inside the fort. Head inside the fort, up the stately staircase from Jaleb Chowk courtyard, and you'll reach the second courtyard that houses the Diwan-e-Aam (Hall of Public Audience) with its many astonishing pillars. Mughal Gardens, built hundreds of years ago, have a beauty that cannot be tallied by simple gardens that you see around the country. This star shaped garden is located in front of the fort. A memorable way of reaching the top of Amber Fort is to ride on an elephant from the car park to Jaleb Chowk. However, due to concerns over the welfare of the elephants, some tourists also prefer to take segways which is another fun ride. Some road routes would take you to the astonishing Moon Gate (Chand Pol), which is located right opposite to the Sun Gate (Surya Pol). Watching the illuminated fort from the bottom of the hill in the evening takes you back in time, which is a surreal experience in itself. Visitors early wait to have a panoramic view from Char garden. The best part is that you can view the whole city from this place atop. Classical dance program happens in the evening in Sukh Mahal adds more fun to your trip. Enjoy a delightful meal at Surabhi restaurant inside the fort which serves various cuisines and the puppet shows with traditional songs. Turban museum is another remarkable part where you will find a large collection of turbans. Apart from Siladevi temple, you can find a lot of temples in the palace along with old havelis. Through our Amer Fort Package, we promise you to make your day worth visiting this fort.
